, ,The Office of the Second Judicial District Attorney improves the quality of life of the citizens of Bernalillo County by reducing crime through thoughtful enforcement of the law and the development of a criminal justice system. The Office is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer and is seeking applicants for a Program Assistant position with the Second Judicial District Attorney’s Office.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of the judicial and legal system, the Secured Odyssey Public Access System, and Case Management System (CMS) are all preferred. Computer literacy is a requisite. An incumbent should also be comfortable working with the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Calendar), and especially Excel. A strong understanding of the digitization process and records management in general is ideal to help achieve the team’s larger objectives.
Examples of Work Performed: Incumbent prepares files for digitization by parsing, organizing, and preparing the paperwork, handles any AUDIO/VIDEO, MVD, NCIC, and Priors information according to our best practices, and creates accurate inventories using Excel. Incumbent then scans files by both correctly naming, uploading, and saving PDFs and adheres to best practices for quality control when completed, then works with team members to finalize all digitized boxes.
Requirements: High school diploma or G.E.D, plus two (2) years of related work experience and/or education.
Preferred Qualifications: Any combination of related work experience and/or education totaling at least four (4) years.
Working Conditions: Work is performed in an office environment. Some physical effort and travel may be required.
Salary range is $19.00-$20.33 hourly. Resume and three professional references must be received at the Office of the Second Judicial District Attorney.
